Robert N. Hartsell, P.A. proudly announces that Megan Renea Hodson, who has been with the firm since September 2011, was recently inducted into the Florida Bar and joins our law practice in her new capacity as Attorney.

Ms. Hodson relocated to South Florida after spending her third year of law school as a visiting student with Vermont Law School’s leading environmental law program.  She received her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she completed the Concentration of Environmental Law and was awarded the Sigma Alpha Omicron Award for outstanding contribution to student activities through her role as Environmental Law Society President.

Ms. Hodson brings experience with the Clean Water Act from her work with the Conservation Law Foundation, a regional environmental advocacy nonprofit in New England.  She also brings experience with the Clean Air Act from her work with the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, as well as policy experience from her work with the Vermont Workers’ Center, a nonprofit dedicated to the rights of Vermont workers.  Ms. Hodson received her B.A. from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

We are excited to have Ms. Hodson join Robert N. Hartsell, P.A.’s legal team in her new role as practicing attorney.  Ms. Hodson will be assigned to cases involving compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act, Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, Florida’s Growth Management Act and Florida’s environmental and land use laws.  She also carries a working knowledge of nonprofit law and will be assisting the firm’s various clients in their incorporating and maintaining nonprofit endeavors.  Ms. Hodson is a substantial asset to the firm and can be reached at [email protected].
