Robert N. Hartsell, P.A. is pleased to announce that Ms. Sarah de Flesco, Esq. has joined our law practice as an attorney in the field of Environmental and Land Use Law. Ms. de Flesco will be assigned to cases regarding coastal law issues, water quality, and land use law. Ms. de Flesco has focused her studies on coastal zone management, maritime law, and Everglades restoration. While a Legal Fellow at the National Parks Conservation Association in Hollywood, Florida, Ms. de Flesco advocated successfully for various projects by lobbying state legislators, writing public comments, and assisting with the Everglades Coalition Annual Conference

Ms. de Flesco also has experience with federal rulemaking procedures from her work at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. While pursuing her undergraduate degree at Georgetown University, Ms. de Flesco studied issues pertaining to the Great Barrier Reef at James Cook University in Australia. Ms. de Flesco graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Miami School of Law, which she attended on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship. While in law school, Ms. de Flesco pursued a joint degree program with the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science and completed her Master’s in Marine Affairs and Policy. We are excited to have Ms. de Flesco join our firm.
