Robert N. Hartsell, P.A., is pleased to announce that Ms. Tanya Downs has accepted an invitation to join our law practice as an intern in the field of Environmental and Land Use Law.  Ms. Downs will be assigned to assist in water quality, rock mining and specialty land use issues.  Ms. Downs’ primary area of study is in environmental law and has worked on a number of cases in Federal, State, Administrative and Appellate courts, including cases involving the Clean Water Act and Florida’s environmental laws.  Ms. Downs has served as an intern for the United States Attorney’s Office in its environmental division and was a member of the inaugural Environmental Clinic at Florida International University.  She also was the President of the Environmental Law Society at FIU, organizing several environmental events including a beach clean-up in Miami.  Ms. Downs received her undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University and her J.D. from Florida International University.  We are pleased that the firm is attracting such incredible talent in the environmental and land use law field to further our clients’ interests and protect their rights.
