As the year and my school semester wind down, I would like to update all the friends of Robert N. Hartsell, P.A. My name is Billie Brock and I am in my 3rd year of law school at Nova Southeastern University. It’s been a pleasure working with Robert N. Hartsell, P.A. since May of this year. I spent the summer adjusting to working 40 hours a week and more importantly improving my legal skills with the help of Robert and Sarah. The firm handles a variety of high profile cutting edge environmental, land use and fair housing act cases.

As my last year of law school began in late August, I found myself balancing school, the duties of an executive position in a law school organization, work and whatever personal life would fit in those spare moments not occupied by school and work. Thankfully, the Nova Southeastern Environmental & Land Use Law Society was able to provide some great opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and take a break from school and work obligations. Particularly, in early October we kayaked the Wild and Scenic Loxahatchee River. It was my first time down this river, so I was very surprised how tropical it was. And of course, it was so beautiful and serene! Oh, by the way, I was raised predominantly in the Midwest so exploring what Florida has to offer is still relatively new to me! Taking advantage of Florida’s great outdoors is a great way for me to relax and is a personal motivation for wanting to protect our environment for current and future generations in whatever capacity I am able to. Seeing firsthand the work that Robert N. Hartsell, P.A. takes on in an effort to preserve Florida’s environment and precious places is inspirational and will stick with me as I begin my legal career.
